El3mento White was born in 2024 following a passion for the Lima Valley, a specific terroir for the variety Loureiro white. Luís Pedro studied Agricultural Engineeting in the valley and developed a relationship with it and always wanterd to ocme back to make something and in 2023 he convinced his mother and uncle to invest in a property and to plant 1.2ha of Loureiro, that is still growing now and hopefully will be ready to make some wine in 2027.

As we still have no grapes yet, we had to purchase grapes in the region to makeit our first trial – we bought in grapes from Moreira do lima, a very noble region to produce wuality Loureiro, that is the place we’ve chosen to make this wine, but in the future it will probably come out of our own vineyards. The grapes were harvested on the 10th of September, one part was destemmed and put into an 1000L anfora with the skins, and the other part pressed to old barrels.

Xisto Amarelo was born in 2017 from working with the same vineyard over 10 years, Amarelinha vineyard, characteristic from it’s yellow schist (xisto amarelo), planted in patamares in the beginning of the millennium, facing east and surrounded by forest, with Touriga Francesa as the major variety, along with a little of Tinta Amarela.

2021 was a very balanced year, with a very wet February followed by a dry and quiet warm spring that provided a healthy floration and a production above normal in Douro. June was quite unstable, with thunderstorms and hale, but we were very lucky that didn’t affect our vineyard, so the grapes were very healthy with an extraordinary balance between sugar and 2nd acid. Grapes were harvested on the of September of 2021.

Xis was born in 2019 from a search for the best white grape vineyards in the Adorigo/Barcos region in the council of Tabuaço – Douro..

Very old vines, with schist soils, over 90 years old, exposure to the North between 500 and 550 meters of altitude, with mostly Malvasia Fina, among other varieties with less weight in the vines such as Gouveio, Rabigato, Dona Branca and Viosinho.

• The Quinta Carolina Reserve Red is a wine produced with the best quality grapes from the Quinta, only in the best years. An early harvest preserves the freshness, acidity and minerality, promoting aging in bottle.
• Dark ruby ​​color, the nose with notes of red fruit, chocolate and a thin wood well present, the Quinta da Carolina Reserva Tinto is an elegant, fresh wine with velvety tannins and persistent endind in the mouth. While young is exciting, with typical character of the Douro wines, but more complex with a few years of guard.
